ASTER PROPHY contains abrasives to maximize the removal of plaque without appreciable abrasion of enamel. The thixotropic properties are controlled in a manner to ensure easy transfer to cup or brush without undesirable spattering at the rotation speeds used in prophylaxis.

1 x Prime Dental Aster Prophy

Ensure the cap of the Prime Dental Aster Prophy tube is tightly closed before dispensing the paste.
Attach a rubber cup or bristle brush to a prophy-type handpiece.
Squeeze an appropriate amount of Aster Prophy paste onto the rubber cup or bristle brush.
Begin the prophylaxis procedure by running the handpiece at a low speed.
Apply the paste to each tooth surface, ensuring coverage below the free margin of the gingiva into the gingival sulcus.
Repeat the procedure for all exposed tooth surfaces until plaque is adequately removed and surfaces are polished.
Use unwaxed dental floss to remove any excess paste from interproximal areas.
After use, securely tighten the cap of the tube to prevent drying out of the paste.
Store Prime Dental Aster Prophy in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and flames.
