Ad Sil Polyvinyl Siloxane Impression Material was developed to be used where precise impression is required especially during crown & bridge prosthesis
It could be used with any 2-phase impression material.

Soft Putty Light Body
Ad-Sil Acura Light Body comes in a dual chamber cartridge having 25ml each base and catalyst. This is supplied along with auto mixing tips. It is important to blead the cartridge before each use. Also while dispensing the material tip should be immersed within the fluid at all times.
Mixing Time : 40 secs
Load in Tray : 1 mins 20 s
Insertion in Mouth : 1 mins 30 s
Setting Time : 3 mins
Ad-Sil polyvinyl siloxane based impression material was developed to be used where precise impression is required especially during crown & bridge prosthesis. Wash material should be mixed with help of stiff spatula till uniform color is achieved. Wash material could be dispensed with help of syringe around margin of preparation. Use rigid tray which allows at least 3 mm space all around for taking impression. The use of PDP’s Debubblizer will help avoid surface porosity.

Direction to Use

Preparation:

  • Ensure the work area is clean and dry.
  • Gather all necessary materials: Ad Sil Acura Putty Hard Set jar (Base + Catalyst), tray, tray adhesive, mixing spatula, and syringe (if applicable).
  • Prepare the patient for the impression procedure.

Mixing:

  • Open the Ad Sil Acura Putty Hard Set jar and dispense equal quantities of base and catalyst.
  • Knead the putty material with your fingers until it reaches a uniform consistency. It should turn blue at the end of mixing.
  • If using wash material, mix it with a stiff spatula until a uniform color is achieved.

Tray Preparation:

  • Apply tray adhesive to the tray and ensure it covers the entire inner surface evenly.
  • Allow the tray adhesive to dry before proceeding.

Patient Preparation:

  • Wipe the patient’s teeth to remove excess blood, saliva, and water. Complete drying is not mandatory, but foreign materials can affect flow.

Impression Taking:

  • Load the mixed Ad Sil Acura Putty Hard Set into the tray.
  • Insert the loaded tray into the patient’s mouth, ensuring proper positioning and adequate coverage.
  • Wait for the specified setting time (refer to the product specifications).
  • Once set, carefully remove the tray from the patient’s mouth, breaking the seal gently.

Post-Impression Handling:

  • Rinse the impression under running water to remove any debris.
  • If necessary, disinfect the impression according to standard protocols.
  • Avoid storing the impression in direct sunlight.

Model Pouring:

  • Models can be poured after 20 minutes of impression taking. Ad Sil Acura is compatible with all die materials, including epoxy.
  • Epoxy models can be poured after 60 minutes of taking the impression.

Storage:

  • Store the Ad Sil Acura Putty Hard Set jar in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  • Always screw the cap tightly back on the jar after each use.
  • Do not use the product after the expiration date.

Disposal:

  • Dispose of used materials according to the prevailing rules and regulations of the country in which they are used.
