Bone Rongeur is a double spring, plier instrument used in a variety of procedures to trim and remove bone. While large amounts of bone can be removed with rongeurs, pieces should be removed in small bites. Indian rongeurs are available with three different angle tips, which allows them to be both side and end cutting and therefore useful in difficult to reach areas. They are often used in dental procedures to remove inter-radicular bone.

Preparing the instrument: Ensure that the instrument is clean and sterilized before use. Check the instrument for any signs of damage or wear. If the instrument is damaged, do not use it.
Positioning and grip: Hold the Micro Bone Rongeurs in your dominant hand with a firm and comfortable grip. Align the jaws of the instrument with the targeted area on the bone.
Applying pressure: Gently close the jaws of the Micro Bone Rongeurs around the bone. Apply controlled and steady pressure to remove or shape the bone. Avoid excessive force to prevent damage to surrounding tissues.
Releasing and repositioning: Release the pressure on the jaws to open them and reposition the instrument as needed. Repeat the process of closing the jaws, applying pressure, and releasing as required to achieve the desired bone removal or shaping.
Cleaning and sterilization: After use, clean the Micro Bone Rongeurs thoroughly with a suitable cleaning solution and brush to remove any debris or blood. Rinse the instrument with water and dry it completely. Follow the recommended sterilization procedures to ensure proper disinfection before the next use.
