Probe Usage:
Hold the probe comfortably in your dominant hand.
Gently insert the probe into the periodontal pocket around the tooth.
Gradually measure the depth of the pocket by placing the probe parallel to the tooth surface.
Note and record any measurements or findings accurately.
Mouth Mirror Usage:
Hold the mouth mirror by its handle.
Position the mirror inside the patient’s mouth to visualize teeth and oral structures.
Adjust the mirror to get clear views of all teeth, especially the posterior regions.
Use adequate lighting to enhance visibility and examine dental conditions thoroughly.
Tweezer Usage:
Grip the tweezers with precision to handle small objects or materials.
Use tweezers to manipulate items such as cotton rolls, gauze, or small instruments during examinations.
Ensure careful and controlled movements to avoid causing discomfort to the patient.
After Use:
