Indian Dental Round Condenser is used to condense restorative materials into cavity preparations after removal of carious lesion. It is an essential packing instrument to ensure optimal contact of the restorative material with the walls of the preparation. The end are smooth ,cylindrical in shape and measure 1.0 mm in diameter on the small end and 1.5 mm in diameter on the larger end. The instrument is useful for filling small to medium sized cavities. It is made of stainless steel.

Preparation: Ensure the condenser is clean and sterilized before use.
Material Placement: After mixing your restorative material (amalgam, composite, etc.), place it in the cavity preparation.
Initial Condensation: Use the rounded tip of the condenser to gently compact the material into the cavity.
Even Distribution: Apply even pressure to ensure the material fills all areas, including margins and corners.
Layering: If using a layered technique, repeat the process with additional material, condensing each layer.
Final Compacting: After the final layer is placed, use the condenser to ensure optimal density and smoothness.
Check: Assess the restoration for proper contour and adaptation before curing or finishing.
Cleaning: After use, clean and sterilize the condenser according to standard protocols.
