Tips also offer maneuverability and enable precision in reaching and removing saliva, blood, and debris from the patient’s oral cavity.

The tip of the saliva ejector should be placed at the side of the mouth, opposite the area being worked on.
Have the patient close their lips around the tip of the saliva ejector, forming a seal.
Suction is created by using a saliva ejector holder, which can be attached to the dental chair or held by an assistant. The holder is used to position the tip of the saliva ejector in the patient’s mouth and create suction.
Adjust the suction pressure as necessary to remove saliva and fluids from the mouth.
Monitor the patient throughout the procedure to ensure that the saliva ejector is functioning properly and the patient is comfortable.
After the procedure is complete, remove the saliva ejector from the patient’s mouth and dispose it of properly.
