Mani Metal Cutting Burs – Pack of 10 Burs

1. Secure the bur: Tighten the bur in the handpiece chuck, ensuring it’s firmly seated.
2. Start slow: Begin with a slow speed (around 5,000-10,000 rpm) and gradually increase as needed.
3. Apply gentle pressure: Use light, controlled pressure to avoid binding or breaking the bur.
4. Cut in the correct direction: Typically, this means moving the bur from the metal toward the tooth structure or in the direction of the metal’s curvature.
5. Use a pecking motion: Apply brief, intermittent pressure to maintain control and avoid excessive heat.
6. Monitor temperature: Watch for signs of overheating (smoke, discoloration); reduce speed or apply coolant as needed.
7. Clean and inspect: Regularly clean the area and inspect the bur for wear or damage.
